i am a 14 going on 15 kis i am in the rock/punk/emo scene for music but im not an emo. not at all i just like that music and i like to wear the band shirts and stuff and i thought maybe black hair is a good idea thats not FREAKISH is is??

No, I'm the same as you, I like the music, and the shirts are cool but I'm not emo. I'm the exact same age as you, too.. I die my hair black, and it was great, i loved it, it's blonde again, but I'm dying it black again tomorow cuz it suits me =) And nobody made fun of me or said I looked emo cuz of it, so you should be fine =)

no i dye my hair black every summer and it comes out beautifully. if you are not trying to be goth or something that society kinda frowns at then i dont thinks it should be seen as awkward. i love it and i think its sexy

I always hate when guys dye their hair darker just to fit in -- It's kinda lame; honestly. Why wouldn't using your real hair color be any different?

My friend's little brother has blonde hair and dyes it back to "fit in". Don't conform, be your own person. I'm not trying to be mean, but this is coming from someone "older and wiser".

Black hair is not freakish. I have black hair, but that's only because both of my parents are of Southeast Asian descent.
