Argh got my hair cut, and the layers are too short!!?

I cant wear it up now!! it looks like a very dodgy mullet, grr. I wanted it for the punk/emo look, as my hair was like this before but just too thick, now its so thin my ears show! any suggestions on how to style?? Thank you. (:

I would suggest straightening (if your hair isn't already straight) and backcombing. That can create a super cute emo look.

You could always pull off a headband of some sort, but that isn't really everyone's style.

I would definitely just take this opportunity to overstyle - if you don't have too much bulky hair, you can backcomb as much as you want, and maybe pull off a bunch of piecey looks...

i Had that Problem But i didn't want to wear it up. Straighten it that helps. Or What i have now is Just past my ears its Spiky i spiked the Layers out to the side with hairspray and it looks Soo Lush if i do say so myself. Just Experiment with it. you will Find a look you like and anyway the Good thing about hair is that it Grows! Hehe Have fun Experimenting And Good Luck

I'm sorry to hear about your haircut gone bad! The other answers are really good as far as flat ironing and piecing it out. You could use something like Manipulator by BedHead or Rewind by Redkon to help with the piecing and fluffing. back combing! makes it look bigger. start at the roots, and underneath the top layers. comb your hair backwards, then bring the pinned up hair over it and it looks big

or go to sally's and get extentions.
